Nothing horribly exciting, or anything at all is really happening in my life. Same as always.... school, work, band, Sarah. Nothing new.... except I got new jeans yesterday. Thats kind of cool I guess. Not that any of you care lol. But yeah. GO buy the new Juliana theory CD. Its rad. The new Coheed and Cambria is alright, but same as the last one. So yeah..... I ordered mewithoutYou, Kids In The Way, and Project 86. I hope they get here soon. I want to hear them. So yeah. I need to write some new songs. Really bad. I am really struggling musically right now. It sucks. I need to just learn some songs. Arrrrgh. I hate the fact that I am just too lazy to get up and set up my gear sometimes. I hate that.... alot. Work, I have nothing at all to say about work. Im going jogging with Sarah later today. That will be rad sauce. I get my braces off really soon. I am super excited about that. Ya. I am going to go see Emery, Showbread, and Number One Gun on the fifteenth. That is radness. It was expensive though. $35... (P.O.D. is playing, which is ok, It will be cool to see them just for the nostalgia.) Ya Im taking Sarah, that will be cool. I got hit on... twice at the football game on friday. I can not wait for college next year. I know then people will be thinking I am just the dumb freshman, but thats alright. [25 Aug 2005|09:12pm] [ mood | amused ] [ music | Billy Talent - Lies ] Hey kids. I hope you all are doing well. Not much is going on in the world. Alot of freaking work. To much actually. I have worked about 45 hours in the past two weeks. Yay. What an exciting way to end summer. *rolls eyes* At least my next paycheck will be freaking big. I hope to never have to see any of you do my job. Cause it sucks. Yuck. School starts on monday. I hate school. I just want to be done. I am sooo glad that this is my senior year. I am ready to be done with High School. It is a lame-drama infested-icky place that I would not wish upon Satan himself. Although some of the times that I had during the high school period are prolly some of the best of my life. (i.e. playing with A.D. 30, meeting Sarah etc.) I am ready for college, to be able to do what I want to do. If I don't want to go to class, FINE I don't have to go to class and no one cares.... Except maybe the people who will be paying for it. Anyways, this year should be exciting/ busy. I am still looking forward to just being done with it. Music wise things are going OK. Been playing with Dylan and Adam alot. We still need a few musicians. So if you know any that are in the Inland Empire and are looking to play, let me know. Could really use some help. I can't fine musicians in this town for the life of me. Sheesh. Or at lest ones that have a half way idea of what it is that they are doing. I just got the Billy Talent CD. It's really good, but some of the songs kind of sound the same, but their guitarist is freaking amazing. I wish I was that good. I have been playing alot lately, so I'll get there someday... hopefully. I have been reading Jeff Lindsay's books "Dearly Devoted Dexter", and "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" the first seems to be better than the second. I am still making my way through the second though. So I'll let you know in the end which one is better. They are about this guy named Dexter. He's like a darker version of The Punisher.... He only kill the people that deserve it. It's hilarious. I knwo it doesn't sound like it, but just read it and you'll see why. Sarah and I have been doing pretty well. Just been hanging around alot.... and she decided that she didn't want to wait until we were married to kiss me, so we had our first kiss, after 13 months, two days ago. Which is rad stuff. I guess thats all the exciting stuff that has been going on with me. So umm leave a comment with your email adress please. My new one is youreyesareammo@sbcglobal.net Let me know whats goin on with you guys. Hope you are doing well. Life has been pretty good. I have been pretty busy with work and things but thats alright. My guitar has died. That really sucks cause now I have to spend money on a new one. Yuck. But its alright because now I finally have the motivation to go out save some money and buy a nice one. I think I'm gonna go for a tele, a thinline maybe. The pool business has been pretty boring. Lots of filter cleans which is nice cause thats $20 bucks a pop. But other than that nothing exciting. Sarah and I are doing really well. We just celebrated our 13 month anniversary. How rad is that? She is sooooo awesome guys. She is more than I ever could have imagined in any girl. She's extraordinary. Just got from SWC as many of you know cause you were with me or we have talked about it. But it was really rad. I love the people from that youth group. It was really nice to meet, Shannon, Alicia, Airyana, and Casey. It was also really good to talk with old friends like Steph, Serena, Jo Jo, Charlie, Sarah, Dustin, Kevin, you know the whole gang. It was really good to see all you guys. There are a few Cd's that you all need to check out. One of the being Haste The Day's "When Everything Falls". That Cd is absolutely amazing. I love it. The As Cities Burn album is really really good too. The new Number One Gun disc is really good. Im still deciding which album I like better. I also got the Solid State Vol. 5 DVD and CD. The DVD is really good. I shouldn't have bought it though, cause now I want to play in a hardcore band really band now. Like really freaking bad. Ah yes the simple joys of hardcore screaming, heavy metal riffs, and the double kick bass. My band hasn't practiced for a while cause my guitar died.... which sucks. Oh well. No real updates there. Before I left I went and saw Dead Poetic, The Beautiful Mistake, As Cities Burn, and Classic Case at the Showcase Theatre. It was a pretty good show. Dead Poetic sounded good, but didn't have much stage presence. The Beautiful mistake was good but again not much stage presence except for a few of them. As Cities Burn was good all around. They rocked. Classic Case was probably the best, sounded good and good stage presence. I bought their cd. Its really good stuff. At SWC the best was Haste The Day, followed by Blindside and The Fold. They were both were really really good. Number One Gun was good but he skrewed up quite a few times. It was kinda funny. But he was into it. lol. But yeah quite a few good shows lately. Well kids. Ill just say that God provided abundantly in so many ways. The trip would have really sucked without those things happening. But yeah Haste The Day, Blindside, The Fold and Number One Gun were my favorites. Showbread didnt play:(. Thats ok though. Haste The day was amazing. I love them. But yeah alot of bad things happened too. Things that shouldnt be said here. But thats alright. im sure most of you witnessed them or heard about them from one of the people that went. I have been spending a lot of time at Dylans, which is rad. I can NOT wait ‘till SWC. I need a vacation so bad its not funny. I can NOT wait ‘till Sarah gets home on Sunday. I can NOT wait to see what she has planned for our anniversary. Its going to be uber-rad to see her. I really just need some time to relax with her. I just chill. I have missed her a lot. So yeah today was alright. I got up went to work nothing really exciting. Got chewed out by several people for dumb reasons, but whatever. After work cam home and showered and left to look at spas for our new house. Yay. Then went to Taco Bell and Blockbuster. I got the Spongebob movie for my brother and me, and The Punisher for me. So I am gonna watch that one later. Meanwhile. I think I am going to play basket-ball this year. I dunno though. I am still praying about it and stuff. Cause I hate him. Not really. I just hate what he does. Ya if you couldnt tell I went to the orthodontist today and got my wires changed. It sucks. I hate it. Anyways. Life has been alright the past few days. I have been really tired with everything that has been going on. But thats alright. I wish something would happen. Something exciting. Like not bad exciting. Just get my blood going. You know what I mean? I need a motor-cycle, or to go bungee jumping or soemthing..... I dunno. I bought a GBA. Its alright. I should have just waited and got a DS though. Im an idiot. Oh freaking well. One thing I do like about it is that I get to play Chain Of Memories baby. Ya for those of you who dont know, I am a kingdom hearts nut. I love it. But I couldn't play the game inbetween 1 and 2 (which comes out later this year) because I didnt have a GBA. Now I do. SCOOOORE. Its alot different from the first one. Its odd. I dont know how to explain it. Its a live action card game. Not a turn based. Its odd. I know. I can't wait for the new Emery to come out. Its going to be rad. I also got golden sun. Good game, but its just like all the other RPG's out there. Learn magic save the world. The story is interesting though. That is what makes or breaks an RPG so its good. Security In The Shadows [14 Jun 2005|10:09pm] [ mood | busy ] [ music | As I Lay Dying - Meaning In Tragedy ] New Layouts rock. I did it on all three..... except live journal. Liz did that for me. Liz is awesome. Anyways. Today was....... interesting. Got up and went to Best buy. I got the new As I Lay Dying cd. Pretty darn good, what else would you expect from those guys? Went to Arby's for lunch. I love Arby's. Best freaking fast food there is. Hands down. No other competitors. Thats it. Anyways, then I went to work. What was supposed to be one fountain turned into ten pools, which is fine cause I had nothing better to do than work. While at work, we were driving and Lucas rear-ended a lady, after she rear-ended the guy in front of her which made that guy rear end the guy in front of him. So it was a four car pile-up. Yay. Just soooooo exciting. Luckily no one was hurt which is good. Then after that we went and loaded all the junk into another truck and finished the route. It's amazing. Daniel leaves cause his wife has a baby, and the whole company is starting to fall apart lol. Not really, but he does his job pretty well. While at the dentist I found out that he homeschools his kids and that he is part of Christian Heritage. So I called him a sinner cause they are my homeschool groups rivals. The lady actually was nice to me today. Didn't yell at me for not flossing, that made me sooooo happy. So work was interesting. There was one pool that was really gross. Lots of algae all over. It was crazy thick and green. Gross stuff I would not want to swim in that pool. I find it ironic that the first day I work with Lucas we are in a car accident. When I got home I took a shower and ate dinner. I don't really like the stuff we had, but that's alright, it's better than nothing. Then I called Sarah to check up on Daniel, and to talk for a few minutes. Only for a few minutes though cause she is in the middle of finals so she's doing alot of studying and stuff. After that I work on the new layouts for all my junk. Wonderful. I just got X-men Legends for my PS2. It's a pretty good game. It's a pretty tough game. I'm still getting a hold of the controls and mastering controling all four characters. It's good to have another RPG. I think after this one I am going to finish Pandora Tomorrow, and then restart Kingdom Hearts but play it on hard this time instead of normal. I'm also reading Red right now. Excellent book, in an excellent series. Ted Dekker is such a good author. Three was flipping amazing. If you haven't read Three, go buy and read it. It is soo flipping rad. Heck just anything by Ted Dekker will be good. Dudes, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is freaking awesome. Go rent it. NOW. The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was amazing too. Anchorman was good, but I dunno its just didn't settle well with me. I think its awesome how all of these independent films are getting like these awesome actors to do their films. I think its because popular hollywood hasn't come out with anything original in years, so they turn to the indy stuff to get something fresh. Thank God. The indy films are like a breath of fresh air in the movie industry. Gosh I am so sick of all the crap that comes out. I don't remember the last time something came out that was half-way original. Today was ok for the most part went to work. That kind of sucked but hey its cash. Then I came home went and picked up some angel tickets and then went to the bank and took care of some crap..... finally. Then I went to Best Buy. Got the silverstein cd. its pretty good. The new thrice kicks its but though. The DVD is freaking awesome. If you guys are into thrice go get "if we could only see us now" flippin amazing. I love it. So my sunburn is starting to go away which is super rad. I HATE being sunburned. Its totally naked. (for those of you who dont know Jimmy, I and a few others are trying to replace "lame" with "naked") Anyways, the Angels game was pretty rad. They won 11-1. Pretty cool. Ya its really bad guys. Sarah's little brother Daniel was attacked by a dog today and had to go to the emergency room..... As far as I know they are still waiting to be seen. So pray for him if you are the praying type. But yeah tomorrow is going to suck.... really bad. I have dentist appoitment..... have to clean my room...... and work...... YAY! Not. But yeah I can't wait for SWC its going to be such a good trip. Ya thats what it feels like when you lie in the sun on the beach for an hour with no sun screen. It flippin hurts. Jimmy put it best when he said "you look like a half baked apple". Ya dont do that kids. It freaking hurts. Anyways..... The new Finch album kicks butt. I cant believe how good it is. Its a new Finch. Not like the last one. Symphony In Peril's "the whores trophy" is pretty dang rad too. Yay. MxPx's new one is well good but its MxPx what else do you want to know? but yeah. Jimmy and I have had fun playing foose-ball, walking around places cause I cant drive him and going to shows to find out that they are sold out. Im still horribly bitter about that. We went to showcase to see Sinai Beach and Comeback Kid..... I called the night before to see if they were sold out. "no" they said "we still have tickets" but the time inbetween then and the show, they sold out. That sucked so horribly. But yeah. I cut my hair for anyone that cares. Maybe ill post pictures. My cat is getting fat. Today jimmy and I went to hollywood/ beverly hills/ tarzana to tour the university hes going to. Its going to be good for him i think. But yeah. Super bummed about the show last saturday. Sucks. My party is saturday. Should be cool. I am looking forward to it. (sorry to all of you who couldnt make it) But yeah school is done thank god. [16 May 2005|05:26pm] [ mood | busy ] [ music | Comeback Kid - Wake The Dead ] Holy crunk. I have fourteen freinds on myspace and they are all of the female persuasion. That is odd. I worked today how exciting. I skrewed up alot. Lost a brush. For those of you who didnt know, I clean pools. But yeah I left a brush on thebumper of the truck and it got run over and broke in two. Actually three but i couldnt find the third piece. I hope its stuck in the tire of the guy that ran it over. jerk. Jk jk. Prom was super rad. Sarah looked absolutely stunning. Took my breath away i had no words to say when she came out. Ill post some pictures later. Alot of people liked my tie. Made me laugh. The ater party was fun. Everyone went to sleep though except for of us. Rock on maddie, katie, and blake. We watched Zoolander which was cool. Then Starsky and Hutch. I thought it was kind of stupid. Oh well. But yeah I got the Atreyu, Sinai Beach, and Comeback Kid albums. All freaking amazing. Blow my freaking mind. But yeah i can listen to those cds while Im driving and no one can tell me to turn it off. Amazing. Koininia last night. It was alright. Came home early kind of was a bad vibe. Tim got pushed in a pool and his cell phone broke so everyone was kind of in a lull. But Im sooooo excited for Jimmy Jo Jo to come out. Two weeks from tomorrow. Yeeeessssss. Im sooo stoked about it. We are gonna go see Sinai Beach and Comeback Kid at the showcase theatre. Gonna be RAAAAAD. Then we are gonna go see Eisley and Love Drug. Which is going to be rad too. We are also going to go down to Hollywood to visit a University and see the Hollywood sign. Rad stuff. But work has been crazy. I work between 15 and 20 hours a week while doing school, keeping my social life, and going to stuff at church. I think that I am going to go get the new Zao cd, and possibly the first Coheed and Cambria. I doubt that one though. Prolly the Silverstein cd. I have really been getting into hardcore again. Its just soooo good. Maybe Ill ge the new weezer. I dont know. Soooo many choices. Oh I got Goldeneye Rogue Agent. Pretty good but its very confusing to control.
